"Poor men and women who are sinners, I, a greater sinner than you, wish to give you this rose, a crimson one, because the precious blood of our Lord has fallen upon it....may it save you from the danger that you are in. Every day unbelievers and un-repentant sinners cry, "Let us crown ourselves with roses" (Wis. 2:8). But our cry should be, "Let us crown ourselves with the roses of the holy Rosary." -St.Louis de Montfort
Rosaries
I need your opinion on something.
This is my St.Therese rosary. It's a popular rosary not because of the rosary itself, but because of the unique center.
As you can see, this isn't a painted picture of St.Therese, it's a photograph of St.Therese. A printed manufacturer photo, but a photo nonetheless.
Problem is, I'm having a hard time designing a rosary for this center. I have gone from all roses like this rosary:
To the beads, in the first picture.
I've also had trouble with the colors. Should I do red roses, or pink roses?
So what do you prefer? The rosary with all roses? Or the rose and bead rosary? The rosaries with color to it, or the rosary with all ivory colors?
I will tell you this: the reason why I stopped making the all rose rosary is because the roses were so heavy that it caused the eye pins to pull open. But I've been experimenting and I think I've finally been able to make my rose rosaries a little bit less chunky and heavy.
But what do you think?

I like the bead and pink roses rosary with the photo.

I like the beads with the roses. I don't have a preference on the color of roses as each of tthe ones you've shown are lovely. Perhaps let the person ordering decide on which color "Our Father" beads they prefer. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI saw your Lady of Sorrows rosary, and instantly I was in love with it! But I see, at Etsy, it's not listed~ =(
ReplyDeleteI hope you're still doing your beautiful rosaries, and we can soon do some business, you and I! =)
Thank you,
